Join CityDance

CityDance is a free, intensive dance program designed for rising sixth, seventh, and eighth graders in Memphis Shelby County Schools. Students will work with notable storyteller and choreographer Robin Sanders on spoken word poetry, exploring a variety of topics, and studying hip hop and West African dance in a full-day program in collaboration with BRIDGES and our new partner, Red Zone. Audition Announcement!

MSCS students are invited to audition for CityDance—an incredible chance to experience a real audition process! Chosen dancers will take part in a two-week intensive camp, culminating with the Summerdance performance, where New Ballet students and professional dancers come together to perform at the Buckman Performing and Arts Center on June 13.
