Level 6 & 7 Dance Summer Intensives

A rigorous three-week program (May 30 – June 16) designed for experienced student dancers, and taught by renowned professionals. Classes include Pilates, ballet, pointe, pas de deux, variations, modern dance, and contemporary. Career and college information workshops support students’ growth as they plan for the future. The intensive culminates with New Ballet’s exciting Summerdance performance on June 16 at the Halloran Centre for the Performing Arts & Education.

Summer Intensives are open to all student dancers in the Mid-South. Students applying from outside of New Ballet must audition (scheduled by appointment only), video auditions are accepted. The $25 audition fee will be waived if qualifying for need-based scholarship (on a per case basis).

• Approximate ages of 14 – 18 with a minimum of six years of ballet training and two plus years on pointe (for those who choose to pursue pointe work).
  
• The intensive fee is included in the annual tuition for New Ballet students. Scholarships apply.
• Tuition fee for students not currently enrolled with New Ballet: $800.
