Kids ages 3–11 can experience the joy of dance with free sample classes in Creative Movement, Hip-Hop, and West African styles. Plus, learn about our empowering New Connective Mentoring program and other exciting opportunities. Whether you’re new to dance or just curious, this is a perfect chance to connect, move, and celebrate the arts. Come dance with us—and bring your family and friends!

What to Expect!

Start with breakfast
Coffee and donuts in the entryway while you get settled and meet our team.

Students: try a class
Any children who would like to sample our classes will rotate through classes in our studios, including Creative Movement, Hip-Hop, and West African, taught by the same instructors they’ll have this fall. No experience needed.

Parents: get the full picture
While your dancer is in class, join us for an overview of our mission, an introduction to our administrative team and teaching assistants, and a look at our Pathways and DanceLab programs and our mentoring program. Stay for parent orientation, where our team will walk you through class placement, answer questions, and help you register for fall classes on the spot.

Advanced students and high schoolers
Students at Level 5 and above will join our Student Board for orientation, a look at the year’s calendar, enrollment, and headshots.

Wrap up together
We’ll close with families back in one room — and a few surprises, including a giveaway and a cold treat on the way out.
